Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, KTM Sportmotorcycle AG to create environmentally friendly vehicles that rapid X-Bow. Three-wheeled electric vehicles (Electric Three Wheel = E3W) KTM is the result of collaboration with the Australian Institute of Technology and Industrial Design Studio Kisha. E3W designed for two passengers of vehicles categorized as a practical, intelligent and environmentally friendly. Suitable for city traffic with a minimal environmental impact. He will compete with Renault Twizy.
E3W exterior appearance is very stylish and scissor doors like a Lamborghini. Body is made of plastic material. Only 530 kg vehicle weight supported 20HP electric motor powered the power source of lithium-ion batteries. In a fully charged battery condition, E3W can travel a distance of 100 km.
KTM will produce 50,000 units in two years and they plan to hold partners for the planned production process a few more years. Regarding the price, range $ 7000 to $ 8,000.
